ABOUT US
Where is Grace Baptist Church?

What does Sunday morning look like?
Throughout the school year, on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am we break into age appropriate groups for Sunday School, where each class has an opportunity to dig into the Bible as they see what God is teaching them. These classes are open for anyone of any age.

Our worship service at 11:00 am is a time where we are able to worship God as a larger church body. This is a time of traditional and contemporary worship through song, sharing where we have seen God at work, prayer, and teaching from the Bible. The intent of our time together is to encourage, challenge, and equip the church to live their lives as shining lights for the Kingdom of God.
During the summer months we gather for a time of worship at 10:30 am.
What should I wear?
We believe God looks at the heart, not our clothes, so we encourage you to wear whatever is comfortable. You will find people who come with jeans and a T-shirt and others who where a casual shirt and tie.
Will I be singled out?
You will not be singled out. We will not ask you to stand up and introduce yourself. Upon arriving you will be welcomed by the ushers. Following the service many people stick around to talk with one another. You are more than welcome to get to know people as you feel comfortable.
Will I be asked for money?
An offering is collected each week for those who regularly attend Grace Baptist Church to give. We do not ask or expect our guests to give. Whether you give something is up to you.
OUR VISION
"Follow Jesus. Love People.
Make a Difference."
We believe this sums up what God has called us to do in this world. Our first call as disciples is to follow Jesus and be more like Him every day. Jesus in turn has asked us to love people as we love ourselves. When we do this, we will inevitably treat them in such a way as to make a difference in their lives, and when that happens, we will impact our community as a whole.
WHAT WE DO
Every church should have a three-fold emphasis in all that they do. These can be described as Upward, Inward and Outward. "Upward" - this describes what happens every Sunday morning as we worship Jesus as the one, true God. "Inward" - we have fellowship and teaching times so that we can encourage one another in our Christian walk. "Outward" - we seek to reach others for Christ, through personal witness and various events that present Jesus to those who might not know Him.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are located in a rural/small town area of Manitoba with different kinds of industries and commercial endeavours. The makeup of our church reflects that, as we have farmers, agricultural workers, teachers, social workers, mechanics, office workers, doctors and nurses - you name it - who are members. This creates a rich tapestry of individuals who contribute according to their various gifts and abilities and makes our church a friendly, welcoming place to attend.
